Entry Information: Enter either by mail on the entry form (click here to download) or online entry here. · 31st January Enter early before this date to go in the draw to win an evening for two at The Bank Bar & Brasserie (value$150) ALL Entries after this date will incur a $15 late entry fee. · February 10th - Online entries close midnight. · February 14th - Entries WILL be accepted on the day but will incur the $15 late entry fee. Race Programme: Registration: 7.00am - 9.30am Runners briefing: 9.45am Race Start Time: All races start at 10.00am - Runners will start first followed by the walkers. Prize Giving: 3pm at the start/finish area. General Information: Timing: There will be full transponder based timing. Shortcuts: If you have overestimated your capability there is the opportunity to take a short cut back to the finish line, you will not be eligible for a placing, but your time will still be recorded. Compulsory Equipment: The weather can be quite changeable in the Hakarimata ranges, so we recommend you bring a windproof jacket and a polyprop top in case needed. We recommend you carry water and some energy food as this is a killer of a race! Drink Stations: Drink stations of water and Leppin Enduro will be provided but we encourage you to bring your own camelback. Food: · Hot Food and drinks will be for sale as a fundraiser for Westside Kiwanis. · Coffee will be available for expresso junkies. · Marshalling will be provided by the Ngaruawahia Soccer Club who will receive a generous donation. Things not to bring: NO dogs allowed! Safety: First Aid will be provided by St Johns. Rubbish: Please do not drop your rubbish. Rubbish bins will be provided. Any runners observed dropping rubbish will be disqualified Cancellations: The event will be held in all but the most extreme weather conditions. |
